HO HO HO

On these nails I custom mixed a red acrylic with chunks of sparkly glitter. I also added silver "tinsel" at the tips. The ring fingers have a fimo clay Santa. I used my migi nail art pen to write Ho, Ho, Ho across the other fingers. Merry Christmas!

On these nails I painted a string of Christmas lights with my migi nail art pens.

These nails have a fimo clay Christmas Tree on the ring fingers from kennickkreations.com. My client loves stars so we added white and silver stars on all the other fingers.

These nails have a red and green smile line fade. I also added candy canes. I know I've done a lot of candy canes but hey they are just so cute I can't help it!

On these nails I painted a thick and thin white stripe to coordinate with the fimo candy cane on the ring fingers.

On these nails I faded silver up from the smile line and painted white snowflakes.

Mijn play date met een paar dames van FOK! en MUA is vandaag dus ik moet zo de deur uit maar ik wilde eerst mijn nagels laten zien. De duim geeft de kleur het beste weer.

White Xmas Snowflakes

Ok, I gotta admit that I really loveeee this set I did just now. Yes, my customer just left at 1230am and here I am blogging. A 2 tone glitter (white+pink glitter) gradient acrylic extension, handpainted snowflakes and decorated with tiny AB crystals. And lastly, sealed with gel top coat for the extra gloss. Love it to the max. :D


Awwww! So festive! If only I can play some christmas carols now, it'll be perfect!


Oh, and I do love how acrylic nails can be pinched and sculptured to a nice long slender nail shape. And her nail bed is really short, but the embedded glitter and snowflakes distracted it! Nice! :)

Snow! Both On My Nails And Outside.

Dus... het sneeuwt... En niet zo'n beetje ook! Het is woensdagavond begonnen en het is nog niet weer gestopt. Bij mijn laatste meting net lag er 43 cm! En wat doe je als je ingesneeuwd bent? Nagels lakken natuurlijk!
Dit is mijn ode aan de sneeuw.

English: So... it's snowing... a LOT! It started Wednesday evening and it hasn't stopped yet. When I measured it just now there was already 43 cm! And what do you do when you're snowed in? Polish your nails of course! This is my ode to snow.

Brrrrrr!!!

Ik heb Magnetic Blue Glitter gebruikt. Een zachte babyblauwe nagellak met holografische glittertjes. Dit is vier laagjes en het is nog niet dekkend! Voor het stempelen heb ik plates M59 en M20 met China Glaze Millenium en Konad special polish in wit en donkerblauw gebruikt.
Zoals je ziet heb ik mijn nagels kort gevijld. Ik moest namelijk een sneeuwballengevecht houden en met lange nagels pastte ik niet in mijn handschoenen! :D Heeft het bij jullie ook zo gesneeuwd?

English: I used Magnetic Blue Glitter. A soft baby blue nail polish with holographic microglitter. This is four coats and it still isn't opaque! For stamping I used plates M59 and M20 with China Glaze Millenium and Konad special polish in white and dark blue. As you can see I filed my nails short. I had to have a snowball fight and my long nails wouldn't fit in my gloves! :D Did you get snow yet?

Nu voel ik me alleen een beetje schuldig over mijn extra's. Ik heb er wel leuke dingen bij gedaan maar lang niet zoveel als zij. :( Dit is mijn eerste ruil en ik had geen idee wat ik erbij moest doen. Ze heeft nog twee lakjes van me tegoed die ik nu nog niet kon krijgen dus ik ga dan zeker nog wat leuke dingen meesturen!

Dirty Sexy Dangerous Money

Wat ben ik blij dat ik deze heb kunnen vinden voor hij overal uitverkocht is!

Misa Dirty Sexy Money is een lichte 'dusty' teal / turquoise uit de Living On The Fast Lane Collectie. Dekkend in twee laagjes en geweldige applicatie. Ik voorzie een mooie toekomst voor mij en Misa!

Op mijn ringvinger heb ik P2 Dangerous. Kan je geloven dat dit juweeltje maar €1,55 kost bij de DM-Drogeriemarkt in Duitsland?! De kwaliteit van deze lak is bijzonder goed en ze hebben erg goede kleuren. Dangerous is een donkere teal, dekkend in twee laagjes.
Hij is donkerder dan Diamond Cosmetics Don't Teal My Heart Away maar lang niet zo donker als Rescue Beauty Lounge Teal dus als je op zoek bent naar een dupe moet je nog even verder zoeken. Sorry. :(

English: Misa Dirty Sexy Money is a light dusty teal / turquoise from the Living On The Fast Lane Collection. Opaque in two coats and wonderful application. I foresee a beautiful future between me and Misa!

On my ringfinger I'm wearing P2 Dangerous. Can you believe this gem retails for only €1,55 at the DM-Drogeriemarkt in Germany?! The quality of this polish is excelent and they have a very good colour selection. Dangerous is a dark teal and opaque in two coats. It's darker than Diamond Cosmetics Don't Teal My Heart Away but nowhere near as dark as Rescue Beauty Lounge Teal so if you are looking for a dupe, this isn't it. Sorry. :(

Ik heb zaterdag een playdate met een aantal dames uit het nagellaktopic op FOK! en van de nailboard van MakeUpAlley. Heb er enorm veel zin in! We beginnen 's middags, gaan samen eten en zien dan wel hoe laat het wordt. Morgen ga ik een enorme pan bolognesesaus maken voor het avondeten. Fles rode wijn, brood en salades en dan zijn we er helemaal klaar voor!
Nu nog bedenken wat ik met mijn nagels ga doen...

En nog meer nieuws: er staat vandaag een gast post van mij over handverzorging op The Nail Farm, de blog van mijn vriendin Thess. Neem een kijkje en volg haar blog want ze heeft belachelijk goede nail-art skills en heel veel kennis over nagels!

Wat een geweldige lak! En zo moeilijk te fotograferen! Als ik naar mijn nagels kijk zie ik beide kleuren duidelijk op iedere nagel maar dat kreeg ik onmogelijk op de foto dus jullie zullen het hier mee moeten doen. Dit is drie dunne laagjes met base- en topcoat.

Wist je dat Mr. Abrahamian die de kleuren van Nubar creëert, uit de autolakindustrie komt? The Nailphile heeft eens een artikel over hem geschreven. (Ik mis haar blog zo erg!) Ik ben blij dat hij nagellak is gaan maken! Maar Mr. Abrahamian, als u uw oude contacten nog heeft, wilt u ze dan vertellen dat ik een teal holografische auto nodig heb?

Er is niets meer te zeggen. Deze moet je hebben. Klaar.


English: What an awesome polish! And so hard to capture on camera! When I look at my nails I can see both colours very clearly but I couldn't get that on camera so this will have to do.
This is three coats with base and topcoat.

Did you know that Mr. Abrahamian who creates the colours for Nubar used to be in the carpaint industry? The Nailphile made an article about him once. (I miss her blog so much!) m glad he went in to nailpolish! But Mr. Abrahamian, if you still have your old contacts, would you please tell them I need a teal holographic car?

ICY Manicure

I seriousely love this manicure, actually wore it for few last days, turned out really great.
I used some chipped blue film that i got from Sally Beauty, for the icy effect. The chips are more for acrylic or gel nail, and it was pretty big chips, so i had to cut it smaller.
I try to come up with more Christmas manicures, but my head is really to busy right now with school stuff as it is end of the semester ,so still can not get any holidays spirit.

Here is left hand, forgot tu put the glitter coat
