Gleekin' Out

The minutes tick by as the clock gets closer and closer to 8 o'clock. Finally...the night has come for the latest installment of the GLEE story- Season 2 is upon us, and I, for one, am soooooo excited! I'm writing this post as I watch, and so far, so good- LOVED the rendition of Billionaire! Anyway, I'm a huge GLEE fan, and honestly, though she's not a main character- my favorite character is definitely Brittany, her comments are so awesome.

I used American Apparel Manila as a base for all the nails except the thumb, which I used Eyeko Saucy Polish for Naughty Nails on. I also used Eyeko Saucy Polish for Naughty Nails for the letters, Sally Hansen Professional Lavender Cloud for the FOX logo, and for the hand, I used American Apparel California Trooper as a base, topped with MAC Abalone Shell, then I mixed MAC Abalone Shell mixed with Barielle Unraveled Rust to shade, and mixed MAC Abalone Shell with Sally Hansen Professional Lavender Cloud to highlight. Topped it all off with 2 coats of Seche Vite top coat.

Ok- I gotta get back to GLEE!!! (Next is NCIS!!!)

Pastel Beauty

Hello my Sweet Nail-Art Lovers
I was so excited about this manicure that decided that i cant wait till weekend to share this one wiht you. I love it!!! I think this is one of the best i ever made.
Unfotunateley pics could have came out better, but still, the mani is gorgeouse!
For the base sponginh i used essie resor collection polishes , than added some two-tone stamping and little blig.
I hope you will enjoy this one too, i mean come on, isn't it super cute?

My new NYX pretties!!

So my order from Cherry Culter came tonight, YAY, and here is all what came. My daughter insisted on being in the pic, lol

First is Collection Noir. It's a very deep green and gold shimmer

Deep Ocean. It does look very similar to Collection Noir, in the pics, but they are different, trust me, please. This is a very deep plum and gold shimmer.

Chocolate Taupe, love this!

Mushroom GlitterMight be best layered, for this was 3 layers. Plus my application was rushed.

Purple Ave.
So when I posted these flakie pictures last night on MUA, I was told that these look SOOO much better than they did before. Apparantly there seems to have been a change in them. I do love these though, and I'm glad that they did re-do them.

Here is the 2nd 1 I got, Blue Ave.

Sparkling Fire over black. This is a very sparkly red!

Thanks for looking everyone, I will be posting more this afternoon, I'm a little behind again, lol.

LORAC Sale on Hautelook!

Wow- this is one of their best beauty sales yet- prices start at $3, and don't go over $10- and that's for palettes! Almost everything is under $5. Lots of lip products (mocktails, lipglosses, lipsticks, lip polish, etc.), a few eye shadows, some palettes, cheek colors, and some foundations. :-D WOOO!

Check out the sale on LORAC sale on Hautelook!

Models Own vs. Chanel

Models Own Carkey collection Chanel Khakis Dupes

Models Own Car Key Collection

After Chanel's Paradoxal, Models Own figured out how to gain success by duping another brand. They already had Purple Grey which is a close dupe to Paradoxal (minus the shimmer) but it only started selling like crazy after Chanel's release.

Obviously they're not stupid because in October Models Own will be releasing the Car Key (get it? haha!) collection. It's quite clear they're duping the Les Khakis de Chanel collection over here. Haha, I love this. These shades go by the names: Grace Green, Becca's Brown and Purple Ash. I'm not sure whether they're exact dupes (judging from this pic I don't think so) but who knows!

Release date: 6 October at Boots and on the site as well. Models Own polishes cost £5 each.

Edit:

BritishBeautyBlogger already did a comparison of these polishes versus the real deal. Just like I expected, they're not THAT dupey, too bad!

You're Getting Sleeeeeeepppppyyy

I love black and white nail art, in fact, those were the colors that I did all of my nail art with when I was younger and had just started playing with designs. Today is a bit of a throwback to that, I did a hypnotic black and white swirl!

Tonight I went to The World Series of Comedy's first night here in Vegas, I laughed my ass off, my face hurts from laughing. (no jokes about my face killin' you, either!) Hopefully my friend Mike places in his show tonight, so he moves on!! :) Cross your fingers!

I used Sally Hansen Professional Lavender Cloud as a base, with American Apparel Hassid for the black design. Topped it all off with 2 coats of Seche Vite top coat.

Now that you're good and hypnotized, send all your cash to me. :)

Random Swatches

I have been noticing just how many polishes I have that don't get used. It's kind of sad. So lately I have been just grabbing a few at a time, and swatching them.

This is a polish I got from Forever 21, and it's just called Magenta/Black. This is 3 coats, and it's amazing!

I am in love with this polish, and the pics of it. It's so glossy. This is Finger Paints Tough Art to Follow.

Here we have a Hard Candy called Sweet P

I picked this up on clearance, I'm a sucker for sales.
Camouflage

Twinkle, I am loving the gold shimmer in this.

Iced Merlot, over black. Do you see the amazing shimmer in this?!?!?!

Another Hard Candy, Lava

and here it is, of course, layered over black

Okay, off to get more together ;P

Another night of playing with holo Konading

So last night I got a chance to try 2 more Konad mani designs, using OPI DS Original polish.
My first one is Finger Paints Tough Art to Follow. This green is perfect. As for the design, I have yet t o actually figure out what it is sopposed to be. I just wanted to try it, since i never have.

Then I tried ChG VIII as the base and the OPI DS for the konad again. I chose to try the diamond/argyle design. I love how this came out!
