Well a lovely sweet reader informed me that my pics were stolen, watermarks cropped out and no credit given. I thank her sooo much for that, but unfortunately, this means my pictures, as of Tuesday will now have a watermark through the center *sigh*. I hate watermarks, and never thought I would need too make them huge and obnoxious, but I do. I work very hard on my manis, and sharing them with you all, so it frustrates me so much. I hope you guys won't mind them, and continue to enjoy my blog.
Here is what I posted on MUA, if you're interested in seeing what exactly happened, and I LOVE that they even commented on her site, supporting me!!

Again sorry guys, and I'm off to head on the road for my mini vacay! Have a great weekend guys!
XOXO,
Erika

Purple Reign, and no...no relation to Prince :P
Since I'm now able to see all my polishes, I'm using ones I forgot about completely, and LOVE it. Shopping in my own stash is a smidge cheaper than stores, lol. While I was 'shopping' I saw Pure Ice Purple Reign, and my eyes lit up. I just love this polish, and before my display, it was lost in a drawer. Since all Pure Ice polishes tend to be sheer, I always start with a base. For this I used 2 coats of Orly Purple Velvet, another one from the Vinyl collection, and then 1 coat of Purple Reign, then topped them with SV.
I took these last 2 pics, out of direct light, so you could see the pretty shimmer better.

Happy Rabbit New Year!
Some cute nail pictures to share. ;)

Minnie mousey nails! With a red heart with red crystals on the middle finger. Something different from the usual french style nails.

Family :)
Sorry for the lack of updates ladies! I just came back from a family holiday to Japan, Hokkaido and it was sooo great! And bad news is that I came back with a flu n a really bad throat. I've been a sick cow these few days so pls bear with me while I find time to post new pics and all the nails I've done for the past few weeks for CNY. Meanwhile, I'll share a few pics from my holiday with my family! :D

Another Simple Valentines Funky French
I did a similar look, but instead of pink and reds, I used neons. Well, I loved it so much, I wanted to do a V-Day version. For this I used the brand 10, #415 - Pinky Promise for my base, Sally Hansen Rapid Red and Sally Hansen Pronto Pink on the tips as well as Sinful's Black on Black.

My World is Shattered
Hey all! I know I've been kind of MIA lately, and for that, I apologize! Things have been really hectic, and my work schedule just got more and more hours. I finally got to the point where I felt like couldn't keep up with everything in the way that I wanted to, so I decided to cut back on hours at the second job... from 35-40 down to hopefully 20-25 in addition to my 40 hours at my day job. I hope that in the next couple of weeks I'll get back on a more regular posting schedule, and I appreciate y'all being patient!! :-D
Today's nail art utilizes the super kickass new polish from OPI, Shatter! For those of you dear readers that were alive and interested in cosmetics in the 90s, you'll remember the Cover Girl Crackle polishes... this one is much better. ;-D I love that the cracks happen in the direction your brushstrokes go, so you can really play with it to make cool designs (I did diagonal on my thumb, and some zig zag when I initially tried the product (not pictured).
I also used the new Nicole by OPI Liquid Metals collection in this manicure!
I used Nicole by OPI Give me the First Dance (from Justin Bieber collection), with Nicole by OPI It Starts With Me, Nicole by OPI Miss Independent, Nicole by OPI Rich In Spirit, and Nicole by OPI The Next CEO sponged over it randomly. For the crackle, I used OPI Shatter in one quick coat. Topped everything off with 2 coats of Seche Vite top coat.
Also, check out the awesome flowers my boyfriend sent me yesterday!! :-D It was a HUGE surprise! :-P
Polkie Dots with a Kick!
Yep, I said 'Polkie', lol. Now as you all know, I love polka dots, purple, scotch tape and matte manis, so why not do a mani, that has it all!!!! Here is the mani I did. I used Ulta Cocktails Anyone?, Sally Hansen Slick Slate and Essie Matte About You. I know I'm holding China Glaze's Matte Magic in the last pics, but when I was taking these pictures, that was on the end table, and to be honest, my butt was too lazy to get back up and grab the Essie, lol. Hey....I was tired and comfy, lol.
I started with 2 coats of Cocktails Anyone?
Then I did the polka dots with Sally Hansen Slick Slate and a Bundle Monster Plate
next I taped off half the mani, diagonally, and used Slick Slate again
Then for fun, I re-taped my nails, and added Essie Matte About You :)
