HAPPY St. Pattys DAY!!! *throws confetti & chugs a green beer*

Happy St. Pattys Day you guys!!! I was able to finally get my hands on Nars Zulu at a decent price yay me! It's a GORG dark green jelly *sigh*, so pretty and shiny. What better time to use it then for today's mani :) Again I wanted to use my craft scissors, and thsi is what I came up with.

I started with 2 coats if Zulu and a coat of SV

Then I chose these scissors

and this is how it cuts the tape

I was going for a semi-half moon mani, but with a little twist. So this is how I taped my nails off

I used China Glaze Laser Lime for the semi-half moons

As you may notice, I FINALLY opened a Twitter account, so you can now also keep up with my blog on there. YAY. The linky thing is on the left hand side of the page.

St. Patty Patchwork

Okay, so I'll take a break from the Crackles *sigh* lol. Well since St. Patricks Day is coming up, isn't it, and I have a brand new St. Patty's Day polish from Five Below, I figured I should do a green Patchwork mani. For this I used OPI Gargantuan Green Grape, Funky Fingers Erin & Sinful Black on Black.

I started with 3 coats of Gargantuan Green Grape, 3, yep you heard right 3 freaking coats, man I forgot how much of a PITA this was. Oh well.

Then I taped them off, and added the Funky Fingers Erin. Such a pretty sparkly green, which I can say, I don't own anything like it. I then added a coat of SV.

For my final color, I added my fave go to black from Sinful. and another coat of SV

I am loving this soooo much!!!! If you are looking for a How-To on this, I have one posted up above in my 'Tutorials' tab.

Another Simple Valentines Funky French

I did a similar look, but instead of pink and reds, I used neons. Well, I loved it so much, I wanted to do a V-Day version. For this I used the brand 10, #415 - Pinky Promise for my base, Sally Hansen Rapid Red and Sally Hansen Pronto Pink on the tips as well as Sinful's Black on Black.

A Holiday layering experiment....

This was a mani that I did, just sort of playing around, lol, but I loved how it turned out. I started with my Sinful's Black on Black, and then added Sinful's All About You. Its an awesome gold, orange, rust colored glitter.

Then, cause I can never leave anything alone, I wanted to add some red to this, just to make it a tad more festive. I had this polish I ordered from Forever 21, and loved it, but it was just to sheer. Well, it was perfect for what I visioned. I love how it was sheer enough to let All About You still show through!

A Last Minute Holiday French....

Here is another Holiday mani I had done for a work party I had last week. I decided to do a classic french mani, but with just a smidge of Holiday fun. For my base I used my regular brand 10, color #415, and the tips were China Glaze White on White. I just LOVE these holiday lights water decals I purchased off of eBay, aren't they adorable!! Not that anyone could really see what it was from afar, lol, but hey, I knew they were there and cute :)

Peppermint Mani......

So I'm sure you've seen TONS of holiday manis, along with the peppermint/candy cane designs. I wanted to try this design myself, and even though at first I didn't like it, it did finally grow on me. I think my dislike was due to the fact that the lines weren't 100% even. I tend to get a smidge anal when it comes to things like that, but as a friend on MUA said, it's better that they are, because it looks more candy like. If they were perfect it would resemble a barbershop pole, lol. Well, she was right!

For this I used China Glaze's White on White, and Milani's Red Sparkle, along with....Scotch tape of course :P

Savvy Garland....

Looking for a dark green shimmery green this year for the holidays? Well here it is. I got this at my local Sally's store. I own very few Savvys, maybe 3, lol, but it was to pretty to pass up. It's called Garland, and the application was prefect!

Winter Snowflake Konad mani....OPI DS Mystery & Claire's 14 Karats

I finally decided to grab OPIs DS Mystery while I was at Ulta. I have always wanted it, but just walked on by. Not this time though damn it! I am so glad I grabbed it, it's beautiful!!! I know there are tons of snowflaked manis everywhere now, but I just had to do one. I used Claire's 14 Karats for the design.

Here is the DS Mystery all by herself :P

How about some holiday manis..........

I finally got Meet Me Under The Mistletoe. I had seen some swatches, and fell in love. After trying it out myself, I'm hooked. This really is such a pretty green! Then I decided to go crazy with the layering, lol.

Here she is all by herself.

Then I decided to add Finger Paints Holly Good Time over top. Doesn't get much more festive than that.

Since I was so in the mood for layering, I went and grabbed my Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure. This made it much more Fallish than holiday, IMO. I actually kind of liked it.

What's cuter than tiny snowmen heads??????

I found these little cuties at Rite Aid in Philadelphia. I am such a sucker for novelty polishes, and even though my thought as I was grabbing these was....these are going to be a pita to store in my telmer, I must get  them. They don't have individual names, but the formula was great on these. The only downside.....the brushes were AWFUL! They were just wonky and too big. Now I love the big brushes, but these were just silly.

Here are the 6 that I got. I did pick up a 7th, like 2 weeks later, but I haven't had a chance to swatch it yet. There are tons out there though. A few just didn't appeal to me even a little.

This had a tiny bit of holo, but it was hard to capture. You can kind of see it in the bottle

This 1st pic of the light pink is color accurate, the 2nd, I had the flash on

Do you see all that crazy holoness!!!

This was way prettier in person. For some odd reason, when I am taking pictures of really glittery reds, my camera and I end up fighting.
