I can never have too many Holos!

YAY it was sunny out, so I again decided to reach for another one of my fave holos , Nfu-Oh 64. I also wanted to do something fun, since I might be going out for a girls night. I only have about 5 minutes to write this, it's again going to be short, sorry. I started with 2 coats of Nfu-Oh 64.

Then I decided to Konad over top, so I used my special Konad black polish. The only downside to this black, is it's a bisch to clean up, so sorry, but I was in such a rush to do this, clean up, take pics, upload, and write this post. I used the Konad plate M63

Alright, off to get ready, then decide if I want to go, lol. I know, kind of backwards, but better to be ready in case I do decide to, lol.

William...meet Flakie.....and some shopping

So I started my morning off feeling great, wearing a new cardi that I am absolutely IN LOVE WITH. I love those days when you have a good hair, outfit and makeup day. They are so rare for me, lol. Anyways, I really wanted a vampy color and decided to try this one, OPI William Tell Me About OPI. I think I only swatched it once when I got it but never actually wore it. Anyways, I also purchased a new necklace and wanted a mani that would semi resemble it, and that is where the flakies come in. Okay, well I started with 2 coats of the OPI

Then I added Nfu-Oh 50 over top

and then China Glaze Matte Magic, because I think matted flakies look so cool

Okay, now I know this is off topic, but I had to show you guys my new cardi! I love love love it. I got it off of Hautelook, which I'm semi addicted to, for a fairly decent price. It's made by Romeo & Juliet. I have received more compliments on this, than any other thing I've worn in a very long time, and mainly from strangers, lol.

and here is the necklace I purchased. I know a water marble would have matched better, but I had no time for that this morning, lol. So flakies had to do. If you can't tell, it's a maple leaf :P

So I loved my new cardi so much, that I NEEDED another one, so after some searching, I found one on eBay, lol, and snatched it up. I cannot wait to get it. Although my gray one has some lace in the ruffle as well, this one does not, but I don't care.

Okay, sorry to get so far off topic, but I just wanted to share :P

OPI Black Shatter has arrived!!

YAY, Black Shatter is finally here!! I was soooo excited when it arrived!! I wanted to try 2 different manis, so I decided to layer it over a sparkly gold & then a flakie.

Here is the first one I tried....I did a base of Orly Luxe and then a coat of China Glaze Medallion, which FYI is my fave sparkly gold glitter! Black Shatter needs to be used over a 100% dry mani, and used VERY quickly. I actually prefer the smaller cracked looked, like in my previous post, but this is still nice.

Then I wanted to try it over a flakie, so I used a base of Love & Beauty, from Forever 21, and then added Nfu-Oh 50 over top.

1 word.......BEAUTIFUL!!

Now here it is with Black Shatter over top

Custom Polish Book Case & Flakie Fun....PIC HEAVY POST

Okay, so for months I've been thinking about how I could 'display' my polish. I insisted on seeing them all, because it's a form of art to me, lol. Well one of our neighbors brothers, can basically build ANYTHING, so he came over, and checked out what I needed and the space I had available. Well this is my new 'Art Piece', lol. I LOVE it, and he made it to match all of our living room furniture since, it's in the living room, lol.
Well...here is my before.. It was a complete MESS, and angered me, every time I had to find a certain polish.

Here is the shelf, empty, and the hubbs

Now it's filled, with most of my polishes, he's so proud! It fit most of them, I might need a sister one, lol

and my daughter wanted a pic on here too, lol. Oh and the pup, is Grandpa, a 16 year old mix, we adopted a few months ago

Here is the top half

Now onto the mani, as much as I love my Nfu-Oh flakies, well the few I have, I don't find myself using them very often. Well yesterday, I decided to have a little fun with one. Nfu-Oh 51.For this mani I used a base of Color Clubs Fashion Addict, 2 coats of Nfu-Oh 51, my regular black & Essie Matte About You, later down the road, lol, and of course Scotch tape. Here was what my final mani ended up looking like. I actually preferred it, the step before it got to this point. You'll see.

Not only do I ADORE their bottles, but look at the rainbow inside!!!!

This was 1 coat of Fashion Addict, and 2 coats of 51

Then I decided to use Matte About You. I really like matted flakies :)

Then I did a funky french with black tips, and if you haven't noticed, I love mixing up finishes!! This is how I love this mani the most!!

But, being me, I just had to see what it would all look like shiny again.

What do you all think? Do you like matte flakies????

Nfu-Oh 64...the best pink holo around!

If you're looking for some great holos, Nfu-Oh has some of the best IMO. This was my first from the, 064. I'm a pink fan, so I couldn't resit. Application was fine with these, although Aqua Base is suggested a base for their holo.
