I'm just unlucky I guess?
I'm so damn unlucky. Today is supposed to be my nail extension Mock Exam. So I happily packed my stuffs.. too many to bring cos I'm supposed to do both Gel and Acrylic. Luckily I drove so I just dumped my tray, uv lamp, towel, hand rest... etc all into a huge paper bag.
Reached school at around 615pm, my teacher told me... "Cynthia, I think no one is here for the mock exam... you are the only one." I was thinking, WTF??? I came all the way here and all the others kuku bananas are not here for the mock exam? PISSED! I called up one of the girls and she told me ALL OF THEM happened to be busy and that's why they're not here. I don't belong to their class so I can't blame them for not informing me... well well.
Told my teacher, "I don't care, give me a hand, I want the mock exam! I'm not coming another time. My ERP cost $2.30 and my coupons cost $3!" So auntie la! ha ha ha.
Ok... so my teacher told me to do it on the fake hand. Inside my mind, I was actually thinking... Am I the first person to take the mock exam alone and work on the fake hand?
I was given 80mins........ and after when it was all done, I asked my teacher bout the percentage of this mock and realised that it only contributes 5% to my overall diploma! Ha ha.. A mere 5%.
Then another thing. I saw this girl using pics taken off my blog to use it as hers! WTF!?!! She took my pics of TiNS polishes and post it on her own blog to use it as a reference in colour so that her customers can see. So unethical! Didn't she know that this is not allowed? Anyway she removed after I told her about it. But in the first place......... she should have taken her own photos and not mine!

OPI's Get me to the taj on time
Her cuticles are pretty neat and clean by nature. (lucky girl!) So all she needs is an express mani.
Nude shade of pink. Makes nails look nice and clean clean.
Good quality Eternal lace stickers on it.
Pedi done by a different customer. She's wearing a size 9 so this shade softens her feet and actually makes them look smaller.

Love this colour! It's from the France collection and I know a lot of people are crazy over this colour... Tried my very best to capture the colour in daylight. It's smoky grey brown. Very nice leh, I like!
Anyway these are my cousin's toes.
Before she did her pedi, she texted me.
Cousin: "if i want to remove my nail colour, how to take out the crystals ah?" (before this she had lots of crystals of different sizes on her big toes for a mth already)
Me: "Huh? crystals never drop?"
Cousin: "no leh, only 1 drop."
Me: "Pluck the crystals out then."
Cousin: "Pluck?? lol. ok i come and do pedi"
The thing bout crystals is that the length of time it stays on the person's nails really depends on each individual. As for my cousin, it stayed really long and well and she went on wearing covered shoes and all and only 1 crystal dropped! Not fair right! Some of us only had the crystals on for a week or so.. ok I guess it really depends.
Ok so, I got a hard time "plucking" the crystals off her toes. I had to literally scrap it off.. I'm not kidding!
Anyway these are my cousin's toes.

Blings, pearls, flowers, french nails..
Came up with this design after this friend of mine told me she likes my glittery nails and then she wanted french nails, simple nails with some bling and flowers that are not the cute cute ones. And then she left the decision to me!

Nails for a bridal photoshoot
Did acrylic overlay over natural nails and extensions on 4 fingers. 3D flowers and petals as nail art... The whole set of nails look very natural and most importantly, it's not thick at all! Looks shiny right? Cos I applied gel top coat.
Close up on the big thumb..... pretty! Oh, and one of the thumb is extended. Can you tell which one it is?
The full set looks like this. Not too complicated, simple and sweet..

Unique colours!
The actual colour looks way nicer in the pic! I swear! It's more like a unique shade of purple pink, but more towards the purple tone. Painted slanted glitters on all toes.. nice hor? I like things simple and bling! Of cos with TiNS nail colour, no bling would ever go wrong! Also with pink and white crystals.

Super nice blue colour. You know why? Cos I have them on my toes too. Ha ha. So nice! It's really unique. Can see the rainbow colour square crystals?
So neat and nice. Always trust TiNS nail polish with the perfect glitter french finishing!
ok.. one side of the nail is shorter and the shape is slightly different from the other. No choice, I did my best to shape them. It's barely visible actually.
Somehow this looks really nice in real. Try glitters for french if you're bored with the usual white french manicure.

My own acrylic nails!
I'm a genius! Ha ha.. ok. Too kua zhang.
I did my own set of glittery acrylic nails plus simple 3D ribbons. That's all I can manage for myself for now. :)
Too girlish for words! I might not be a ribbon or pink person, but I thought these looked pretty cute and nice leh! It's pink glitters graduation with ribbons on 2nd and 4th finger. Plus pink and rainbow crystals! It's shiny cos I applied gel top coat!
I don't like my extensions to be too long, so this is a good length for me. I can still do nails for my customers with this length.

Bride's nails
This bride who came to me wanted something simple for her wedding. I think she's got nice nails and the nails turn out to be really sweet!

Her big thumb. Notice that one nail is slightly shorter than the other? She wanted to keep her length. Otherwise, it'll be a tad too short if it's all filed to the same length.
