OPI - Black Cherry Chutney - Vampilicious Pt. II

OPI Black Cherry Chutney

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone is doing well. Today I'm wearing OPI's Black Cherry Chutney, a classic vampy color which belongs to the India Collection from 2008. When I posted OPI's Midnight in Moscow last week, I mentioned that I thought this polish is pretty similar. Well, they are, but they do have different undertones: MiM is leaning towards brown where BCC is leaning towards a deep cherry color. I love them both!

Some people say vampy colors are only meant for really short nails, but I think they look good on several lengths, what do you think?

Gel nails - Little gremlins and pink

For those who follow my twitter, you would already have seen the little gremlins I posted on twitter. Well, this is the reason why I have to pre make the little devils.

Yes, she requested for the gremlins cos she saw them in Nail Max. A pinky glitter base and some dark pink disco ball flakes makes it more interesting.

Did them from scratch using acrylic powder. The face, nose, eyes, ears, tail.. then painted them.. :D Cute or not!!! They look very naughty! hahahahhaa. In the process of making these rascals, my mum came into the room and asked what I was doing. I told her, "making monsters".

!!!! Love it to the max! The ears, tail, eyes...

Then this is her mum's set of nails. Similar to hers, but tiny silver flakes instead of the pink ones.

I'm not exactly a pink person, but I love creating pink nails. They look so demure and sweet lah!

Both sets are gel extension.

Day 94

Hey all, decided to do nails inspired by the cake!! I think they turned out pretty fun, the lightning bolt is definitely my favorite though!!! :-P The person I did the cake for, Kim, one of the bosses where I work, was absolutely thrilled with the cake, which made me feel really great- the 4 am night was worth it, I'm sure her son will love it!!!

Hey all, today's nail post will be this evening, I was up til 4 am makin' this bad boy, and his accompanying cupcakes for a 5 year old's birthday!! :) It is my very first 'sculpted' cake, meaning I carved the shaped from a 3-layer rectangle shaped cake. I'm super pleased with how it turned out! :) Just thought I'd let y'all know so I didn't leave you hangin'. :-P At least now you have something to look at in the meantime, right? :)

OPI - DS Signature

OPI DS Signature

Hi everyone! Since I took out one my favorites the other day, I thought I'd share this other favorite with you too. It's Signature from OPI and it belongs to the Designer Series that came out in 2008, I believe. I really like the fact that it's holographic and still pretty shiny. You can't really tell I didn't apply a top coat. It also dries pretty fast, I applied 3 coats, wet on wet, without my fast drying top coat and after 15 minutes it was pretty much dry.

I've actually worn this so often that the bottle is about empty! :-(. Do you ever finish a bottle or do you own so many bottles it's nearly impossible?
