Connect the Dots

Since Monday and Tuesday of this week were both based on fabrics, I decided to finish out the rest of the week by doing the same thing... its FABRIC WEEK!! :-D Today's fabric is super dotty, in fact, it's ALL dots, in all different colors. I loved the colors, so I had to get it, and while it took FOREVER to do on my nails, I like how it looks!! :) (even though some of the dots are goofy looking)

The fabric inspiration:

The nails:

I used Sally Hansen Professional Lavender Cloud as a base, with American Apparel Hassid for the black, L.A. Girl Army Green for the green, OPI Ginger Bells for the warm tan, Essie Foot Loose for the bright pink, Color Club Ms. Socialite for the darker magenta, Orly Gumdrop for the light turquoise, China Glaze Flyin' High for the darker turquoise, American Apparel Peacock for the dark teal, OPI Parlez Vous OPI? for the purple, and I think that's it. :-P (there were a lot!) I topped everything off with 2 coats of Seche Vite top coat.

I think I've officially gone dotty.

ManGlaze - Fuggen Ugly

ManGlaze Fuggen Ugly

Fuggen Ugly

Hi guys! After all the bling bling and gloss sometimes you just want to take it down a notch. Personally, I love my mattes, they just seem to add that little extra attitude when glossy nail polish just doesn't cut it. My favorite brand in mattes is ManGlaze, and I've showed some of their products already, but today it is Fuggen Ugly that gets all the attention. Don't you just love the name?

This grey matte nail polish with its pretty shimmer, dries in a heartbeat, but still allows several brushstrokes without causing a big streakfest. I applied 3 coats and it all dried pretty smoothly. Fuggen Ugly's finish isn't as matte as Matte Is Murder's, but it still remains far from being satin. Another great thing I keep mentioning is their fab artwork, every bottle is a little piece of art!

Sold out

At the moment Fuggen Ugly is sold out, but ManGlaze is bringing back a new and improved (more matte!) Fuggen Ugly, so keep an eye on their Twitter for more updates!

ManGlaze Fuggen Ugly

Fuggen Ugly costs $6.66 (\m/) online or $13 in stores.

Chrome stars inlay!

And so... I finally couldn't bear seeing my nails naked anymore and did my own nails. :D

I love to keep my nails clean and simple. Frosty white tips with gold and silver chrome stars embedded! Added gold disco balls too! As you can see from the picture, it's super glossy too!

Nails fit for a diva? :P
This is gel sculpture extension.
