Luxurious Rage

Hey everyone!!! Totally spaced on it being Mardi Gras today, having yesterday off threw off my schedule... I was convinced yesterday was a Sunday, so my apologies, no Mardi Gras nails... :-/ However, I was lucky enough to find a Sally Beauty that was selling the ORLY Foil FX collection, even though I'm thinking they weren't supposed to have them out, since it wasn't in their system, and I can't find anywhere selling it online yet. These colors are amazing. Like AMAZING. I wanted to do a design that would let the colors I chose shine.. literally. I bought all three, Rage, Luxe, and Shine, but only employed 2 in this design. When these polishes are for sale online, I will change the polish names to links like I usually have.

I used Orly Rage as a base, which is a gorgeous Rose Gold foil, then sponged a little bit of Orly Luxe (the gold foil) on the tips, and then applied Zoya Raven with Konad Plate m70. Topped everything off with 2 coats of Seche Vite top coat.


Tip:
When stubborn glitter/shimmer wont leave your cuticles, use a nail cleaning brush to remove after polish is dry and you've cleaned up the cuticles with remover and a brush.

China Glaze - Ruby Pumps - & Upcoming Giveaway!

Hi guys! Today I only have time for a short post, so here it goes! This probably is one of the prettiest nail polishes made! You all know her by now, but Ruby Pumps by China Glaze deserves all the attention she can get. I snatched this one from my moms Helmer, it's a beauty! Definitely a must have, so I'll have to get me one too! The formula was amazing, after 3 coats you'll have the most gorgeous red sparkly nails ever.

I also wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone so much for reading, commenting and supporting my blog, you've all made this blog a very warm and welcoming place to be for me. I've passed 200 followers last week, which I've never expected, not even in my wildest dreams! To thank you guys I'll do a giveaway when I hit the 250 mark. Think H&M nail polish! And probably some other stuff on which I haven't decided yet! Maybe OPI's Reflecting Pool since it's not that easy to find overseas? So please stay tuned for updates about this :-).

Soemthing Blue..

A really quick nail art post. Just wan tot share with you another hand painted nail design, i used to have this one on right before i made a V-day manicure.
Girls from Russian nail art community seemed to really love this one, even thought usually they are way more judgmental and likes to criticize a lot, because most of the Ladies are real professional that creates a state of art nail designs. I ll definitely make another post about Russian Nail-art some time soon, and for now i ll just share my "Something Blue" manicure.
