Pitter Splatter

I'm back! Sorry for the brief hiatus, I was sick all weekend. I even left my friend's wedding earlier than I wanted to and went and slept on the floor at the airport because I felt so rotten. Guess that's what I get for overdoing it. (work, blog, projects, etc) After sleeping all day yesterday and most of today as well, I'm feeling marginally better. Hating the hacking and sinus pressure, but I'll live.

Anyway, enough whining, moaning, and talk of lung butter. On to the nails!! ;-D Most of the colors I used in today's nail design are part of the new release of 12 colors by American Apparel (review to come in a few days), these colors are every bit as awesome as their previous releases. They even included a shimmer polish!

I used American Apparel California Trooper as a base, with American Apparel Raccoon for the dark brown, American Apparel Port for the wine color, American Apparel Trenchcoat for the yellowed khaki color, American Apparel Makeup for the pinky tan color, and BB Couture Kelly's Green for the avocado color (totally in love with this color!!). Topped it all off with 2 coats of Seche Vite top coat.

Disclosure: Several of the colors used in today's post were sent to me by the manufacturer for review.

Savvy Garland....

Looking for a dark green shimmery green this year for the holidays? Well here it is. I got this at my local Sally's store. I own very few Savvys, maybe 3, lol, but it was to pretty to pass up. It's called Garland, and the application was prefect!

Flower Series

Photobucket

Created a whole new set of Flower Series Nail Art designs for all you fellow nail-art lovers. Spent the day doing these designs in preparation for a friend who is coming over to do her nail art for her brother's wedding. I find this series more on the elegant and sophisticated side which girls would love on their nails. What do you think ?

Nostalgia !

Hello I-Nail-It readers!

In my earlier post, I mentioned that I'd be releasing a set of Christmasy nail art designs in December. But before that, here's a pleasant surprise!

I was inspired to do this set of Mario Mushroom nails after Ryan sent me the link on Stomp talking about how colours are not the main focus of nails anymore, but it's the design that goes onto the nail. I personally find this set of Mushroom nails cute! And don't worry about "acting cute" or anything like that. That's the reason why the mushroom is only drawn on the thumb and ring fingers. All girls should give this a try!

Bridal gel nails.

I added silver holographic flakes to the silver glitter tips. Super bling lah! With pink peach roses~

A mix of chrome stars and disco balls embedded within the gel nails. The ribbon design is on the thumbs as well. This is for a pretty bride who loves pink and stars. ;)

Shiny disco balls!

Black tips with pink disco balls (this is more sparkling than the usual pink!) and I love the ring finger design. Super glossy!

A simple glittery design. Mixed silver and light pink glitter. Turns out really pretty! And super glittery under lighting. ;D
